Some people prefer to not have the taste of the steak altered in any way. Especially, if the steak is like a rib-eye, Del-Monico or T-bone. Preparation includes, beating the steak with a wooden steak beater, place in a liquid marinade that comes from the store or a marinade that is an old family favorite.

After the steak has been prepared, you may then decide to do steak kabobs and add onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes or any other vegetable of your choice and alternate the steak and vegetables on the kabob.
